Friday 10am – 4pm
Sunday 12 – 4pm

If you would like to volunteer, please contact Kate Holtham-Oakley, volunteer finds supervisor on 07771 630283

Please bring lunch and a drink or water for the kettle.  No previous experience needed and all welcome.

For further information please contact Kate Holtham-Oakley, volunteer finds supervisor on 07771 630283 or Andrew Richardson, Finds Manager, CAT by email andrew.richardson@canterburytrust.co.uk .

Directions to the CAT stores:

Follow the signs to Dover Eastern Docks. Follow the route marked in orange on the map below. As soon as you exit the roundabout, keep right and head for the Passenger Terminal.

Please make sure you obtain a temporary permit from the travel centre (located in the main passenger terminal). Tell them you are there for the finds processing with A Town Unearthed.

Follow the exit route and keep left: take the next turning on the left and follow around the side of the old customs building.

Limited parking is available adjacent to the old customs building, where finds processing will take place (up to 5 cars only). Where possible, please share transport with others, to minimise the number of cars. If you arrive and 5 cars are parked please exit the docks and find alternative parking.  There are spaces along the sea front.
